A former Valerian Guard chaplain who left the service by taking one of its airships, which is certainly one interpretation of submitting a resignation.
Azrul once served as a chaplain in the Valerian Guard and was a friend of Captain Rhogar Skyscale.
After leaving the Guard with an airship, he became captain of the Crucifier. He later descended through the ash clouds over Big Titty Demon Island and offered aid in exchange for red-crystal fuel.
