What happened
The party arrives at the Bent Coin in Port Town and meets Captain Rhogar Skyscale and Kayla Voss. Rhogar offers passage aboard the Storm Wraith to the demon-haunted island, while Kayla reveals that Silas hired her to track the group.
The tavern visit becomes a disaster involving a waitress with no teeth, Mruno's failed bardic charm, and the party's usual public indecency. The group accepts Rhogar's offer and boards the Storm Wraith.
Grenak panics during takeoff. Roland eventually knocks him unconscious so the crew can continue. During the voyage, Billy Bumbler overhears Kayla and Rhogar discussing Silas's contract and Kayla's uncertainty about collecting it. By morning, the island rises from the mist, covered in towering red crystals.
The Bent Coin
The party enters the Bent Coin, a rough Port Town tavern filled with salt, sweat, stale ale, and regret. The bartender offers flat ale and warm food. The party claims a table and begins drinking.
Captain Rhogar Skyscale and Kayla Voss sit nearby. Rhogar is a former Valerian officer who now operates as a sky-captain and pirate. Kayla is a half-orc bounty hunter with a practical attitude and a professional interest in the party.
Rhogar recognizes the group as the people connected to the Eldenhold riot. Reese gives a guarded answer about who is asking. The conversation remains tense but friendly enough for everyone to continue drinking.

Rhogar describes an island filled with red crystals and old horrors. Kayla considers the voyage suicidal. Rhogar considers it a good time.
Grenak asks whether the island contains the large demons the party has been seeking. Rhogar confirms that it probably does. The group immediately decides that this is their kind of destination.
Rhogar offers passage aboard the Storm Wraith if the party helps offload cargo on the island. The party accepts. The ship's red crystals are identified as its power source, an important early clue about the relationship between the crystals and airship travel.

Boarding the Storm Wraith
The party goes outside to the hovering Storm Wraith. Grenak observes that a boat should not fly. Mruno responds that gravity is merely a rumor.
The ship lifts off using humming red crystals. Grenak clings to the rail and screams that he is brave and can fight the wind. The panic becomes so disruptive that Roland knocks Grenak unconscious. The party continues the flight while Grenak is incapacitated.
Reese senses that the air around the crystal engines feels wrong, like static inside his mind. Mruno plays travel music that synchronizes with the ship's hum. Valen meditates through the chaos and regrets several life decisions.

The Storm Wraith descends toward the glowing island.
